Chromium carbide wear-resistant plates
SAROMAX100 is the SARO anti-wear solution composed of extremely hard chromium carbides applied by powder fusion in an electric arc welding bath onto a carbon steel base. The special composition of the coating guarantees:
- high abrasion resistance
- long service life
- excellent performance in harsh environments
- effective protection against continuous wear and erosion
SAROMAX100 is particularly recommended for:
- abrasive applications with medium impact
- protection of surfaces subject to heavy material sliding

SAROMAX100 It is supplied in plates with a standard usable size of 1460×2950 mm in various thicknesses to meet the construction and/or maintenance requirements of every customer.
The hardness of chromium carbides does not allow machining by chip removal, only laser or plasma cutting. Plates and parts made to design can be ordered: hoppers, chutes, cyclones, liners, blades, ploughs, scrapers, etc., with thicknesses other than those shown in the table.
