Chain Conveyors

Drag chain conveyors are mechanical handling systems used for the controlled transport of bulk, granular, or powdery materials within industrial plants. Their operation is based on one or more chains moving within a closed channel, which drag the material along the transport path.

During operation, the continuous friction of the material and the stresses generated by the movement of the chains cause abrasion and wear phenomena on the internal surfaces of the conveyors, particularly in the sliding areas and at points subject to greater mechanical contact.
